History of Company
The company was founded in 2003 by Joseph Phofu, trading under the name Joseph Phofu architectural services, specialising mainly in alterations, small scale Developments, council submission drawings and as-built digital reproductions. His focal point was on the residential houses around Embalenhle, Evander, Kinross and Secunda in Mpumalanga where he grew up. The company was re-branded to schematic designs studios of architecture in 2012, when architecture, interior design and master planning became the core Focus areas of the practice.
